Students can get the benefits of movement and stretch in this class incorporating about 30 minutes each of Yang and Yin practice. Moving through some asanas with breath work for the Yang portion of the class allows you to warm up the muscles and tone your body while focusing your awareness. The Yin focus on the deeper tissues of the body allows students to hold poses for longer periods noticing the sensations that arise during these moments of stillness. Class may start with either the yin or the yang portion, but always ends with a relaxing savasana.

This practice will give you a more intelligent way of moving in your daily living with the ability to connect to your deep core muscles while in movement providing you with a greater range of mobility and flexibility

This class is appropriate for all levels offering the perfect balance to a more active practice or lifestyle.

As the pace increases and the poses deepen, you will begin to build heat from within. Come prepared to work and sweat a bit and have fun! The flow part of the class is followed by deep stretches, gradually cooling down the body, and ending with deep relaxation in savasana.

Detailed alignment cues will be offered, which guide you safely and playfully into greater depth in each pose. You may find that you’re working harder in simple poses than you ever have before!
The class will take you through a variety of shapes that prepare the body for the peak pose, followed by yin-like stretches to cool down, and closing with a sweet savasana.
This class is suitable for most levels of practice; however, beginners are urged to take Foundations classes first.

Continue to develop a strong physical practice building on alignment foundations. Each class is Ashtanga based and will move you through a progression of poses leading up to a peak posture. Students are encouraged to push their edge and continue with breath and conscientious movement to really connect mind and body and delve deeper into their practice. Balance postures are often explored in the class.

Wake up with an energizing morning yoga practice that can act as a natural stimulant to set you up for a great day. Many of us sleep with the spine and hips rounded in fetal position, which is calming and introspective for rest and contemplation. In contrast, extension of the spine offers opening the mind and energetic centers of the body while preparing a person for action. This all levels flow class will create a focus on opening the front body while breathing deeply into areas that are closed when sleeping, thus creating energy for the rest of the day.

Therefore, in this class we will spend 45-50 minutes on Power Yoga, 30-35 minutes on stretching and restorative poses and finishing off with a nice long 10-minute savasana. This class offers variations for all levels but come prepared for a strength challenge in the first part of class.
